Thelg Ironhammer was born to Ogdin and Frella Ironhammer as their only child. He grew up in the Crystal Caves while his father worked as a guard for the trade roads to Semanri and his mother was an accomplished wood worker.
Thelg helped his mother in her woodworking shop after attending Dwarven schools on metallurgy, gems, mining, history as well as religions of the world each day. His farther taught him how to fight and the ways of the warrior, which consisted of learning about the world and the arts not just combat.
When Thelg became of age his parents sent him off to Semanri to find his lot in life. After careful consideration he joined the Fighter guild in hopes to follow in his father's footsteps. While being taught by various trainers he always sought peace in carving shapes from wood.
Thelg returned home and began working in the tunnels as a guard for the miners. While finding a den of Ogre Mages and helping to clear it out, he found a baby owlbear and began to nurse it back to health since then, Samman the owlbear, has been his constant companion.
He joined the Faleen Clan in hopes of making a difference in protecting all the lands. Thelg was welcomed with open arms and has considered the clan his second family.
